Description:

McCoy Corporation is a publicly traded company that employs approximately 500 employees in its three operating segments in Alberta, British Columbia and Louisiana. We are currently accepting applications for an experienced Receptionist/Administrative Assistant for our corporate office on the south side of Edmonton.  Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, this person is the first point of contact for guests coming into the office.

Responsibilities:

  • Answering, screening, and directing incoming calls
  • Coordination of incoming and outgoing courier deliveries and mail
  • File maintenance
  • Office equipment maintenance and inventory ordering
  • Assist with event organization and travel scheduling as needed
  • Assist in the resolution of issues with building management
  • Assist with human resources activities including recruitment administration
  • Other general office administration duties as required

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience in a similar role
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Professional phone manner
  • Flexibility in juggling a number of daily tasks
