Inotec Coating and Hydraulics Inc., a Division of McCoy Corporation, have been serving the needs of Canada's industrial and natural resource sector since 1986 by providing large capacity plating, spray coating and hydraulic services.
We are presently recruiting for an organized Chrome Division Leader to manage the daily operations of the chrome business unit. This will include but not limited to production requirements, personnel, communications, equipment, policies and growth as defined below.
Specific Duties
- Scheduling daily and weekly product flow
- Quality assurances by managing non-conforming product and corrective actions to ensure no repeated failures in process as well as consistent communication with the Quality Assurance Manager.
- Training staff members in all areas required ensuring that morale and attendance requirements are maintained
- Giving instructions to cell leaders and staff as well as reporting and providing necessary information to the Plant Manager, Sales Manager and sales team when requested.
- Regular reporting to the Plant Manager as well as the Maintenance Manager on status and operation of all equipment with special attention to all critical machines and systems.
- Scheduling downtime for repairs and service and ensuring daily maintenance requirements are met and documented.
- Implementation, revision and enforcement of all internal and external company policies. These policies include but are not limited to safety, drug and alcohol, environmental, ISO, lean manufacture practices, attendance, scrap material, disability management and human resources.
Requirements
- Ability to schedule large numbers of jobs through large numbers of equipment
- Ability to manage people and create positive environments and schedule 200 or more jobs through a facility.
- Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a machine/fabrication shop
- Knowledge of chemical, hard chrome, and nickel
- Experience in the chrome plating industry in the oil and gas sector is a huge asset
